The result of the Electronic Diversity Visa (EDV) for the year 2021 will be published on May 5, 2020, Tuesday (postponed on June 6, 2020) evening after 9:45 Nepali time. According to the official website of the Electronic Diversity Visa Lottery. (https://dvlottery.state.gov/)

Thousands of Nepalese people have already migrated to the US for permanent residency with a green card in their hands through the program. The Electronic Diversity Visa winners are selected randomly by a computer program.

Applicants who had submitted the application for the electronic DV from October 3, 2019, to November 6, 2019, can check their results, whether they are selected or not on www.dvlottery.state.gov.

If you have been selected for the EDV 2021 then you are not sure that you will get the US visa. There are a few processes which you need to complete.

To check your EDV 2021 Result online:

Go to dvlottery.state.gov ( Don’t be scammed because this is the only official site and don’t believe or don’t follow other websites to check your result)

Now you will see a dialogue box where you need to enter your confirmation number and family name correctly. (Please don’t make a mistake while entering your details)

Now click on Submit button.
